Boot Print To Heel Print Orientation Program

Boot Print to Heel Print

The Dean of Students and the Carolina Veterans Resource Center is proud to continue to offer the Boot Print to Heel Print orientation program designed specifically for military-affiliated students. Newly enrolled, readmitted, or deferred enrollment students who are active duty, veteran, reservist or National Guard are strongly encouraged to attend this orientation. This will be an opportunity for student veterans to learn how to utilize all the great resources that are available to aid in their success at Carolina, to build skills that are needed in the classroom, to connect with other military-affiliated students on campus, and meet members of the campus-wide Veterans Resource Team. This year's Boot Print to Heel Print takes place on 11 August 2022 from 9 AM to 4 PM, and you can RSVP here!

Do you still have to attend the university‚Äôs Undergraduate Student or Graduate School Orientation?

Yes. Orientation is mandatory for all incoming students. The transfer student orientation will provide some additional information for military-affiliated students, but you are welcome to attend any session that fits your availability and needs. Boot Print to Heel Print supplements the information shared at the university orientation with veteran and active duty-specific information and programming. For more information about the various orientation sessions, please visit:
